The authors of the very successful “Uncrowned Queens”, profiling area African American Women are back with a third edition of the book, “Uncrowned Queens; African American Women Community Builders”, subtitled “In Commemoration of the centennial of the Niagara Movement: The Legacy Continues 1905-2005”. One Act Play Entry from June 19 until June 30 2006
“It's All Drama!” MMB Theatre One
From June 19 until June 30 entries will be taken for original one act plays to be read over a three night period in September, 2006. From the three night readings, two plays will be selected to be produced the first quarter of 2007. Playwrights interested can contact MMB for entry forms and additional information. Plays can not exceed 30 minutes.

2006 Harlem Book Fair in Buffalo
Mood Makers Books will exhibit at the Buffalo Harlem Book Fair. The Harlem Book Fair Buffalo a Celebration of the Niagara Movement Centennial began in 2005 with a Literary Success. The story continues in 2006 with the nationally known book fair showcasing interesting authors and interactive activities for all ages.

Eldridge McClaney
Ms. McClaney, will be signing & discussing her new book in the Living Room Gallery. Eldridge McClaney grew up in the farming belt of Pigeon Creek, Alabama, and is the mother of three children. She is a professional storyteller and a toastmaster, retired after teaching over twenty years in the public school systems of Buffalo and Rochester, New York.

Kenyatta DaCosta will be signing his unique book, “Exploring the Void”, and Exposition on the Non-Space Non-Time Before Creation. The information presented in his book is designed to clear away common beliefs and assumptions one might have and offer different and rather radical perspectives. By doing so it gives the reader a clear sense of that which is ultimately incomprehensible.

Author of …“Missing News & Views in Paranoid Times” and “Talking Back to Today's News”
Ms.Bennett will be signing her new book, “ No Room for Despair: How to hope in Troubled Times - Mary McLeod Bethune's Cold War, Integration-Era Commentary. Carolyn L. Bennett is a Brighton resident, an independent journalist, author and former university professor. She has coordinated the St. Martin's Writers' Workshop at St. Martin's Place in Northeast Rochester, a mission of the Sisters of Saint Joseph. This is one discussion you don't want to miss!

Ms. Walters will exhibit her paintings in the MMB Living Room Gallery for two weeks. Gallery hour are from 12:00 noon until 5:00 p.m. each day. The Gallery is closed on Sundays.
